Junior Competition Results - 4.5.25

We had 10 Juniors in our Bank Holiday comp today with 7 juniors playing in the 18 hole Full Stableford comp and 3 Juniors doing 9 holes on Academy tees under the modified stableford system (Ping Wales Tour format)

 

Results of 18 Hole Stableford with Handicap

 

Winner - Owen Bevan 35 points 

Runner Up - Tommy Evans 34 points

 

Other Notable scores Logan Lewis and Ted McEvoy both on 33 points and Ioan Jones on 32 points

 

Well done to Owen Bevan on his first win and our Junior Captain Tommy Evans on being runner up. Tommy Evans also shot 40 points and 4th place in yesterday's Men's Stableford Competition also. Great golf!

Aled Arrowsmith 34 points 

 

Well done to Dexter with his best points and best ever gross score off the academy tees. Finn and Aled I can see improvement on every round you are playing, well done and you both produced some excellent shots today.

 

Thank you to everyone who took part and it is great to see some regular faces with these competitions showing loyalty to the Junior Section. Thank you to Dave Evans also for helping with the Juniors today.

 

All future competition dates are on the Captain’s board and a reminder that Junior Coaching is this Saturday coming. 

 

Further updates on the Southerndown Junior Team in the Glamorgan County League to be announced in the next week or so.
