W.B.Medal Sun 3rd August

Junior member Jack Rees shot an excellent  74-8-66 to win the first division. Mathew Ashong was victorious in taking the second division honours with 88-14-74

A new rule has been recently introduced to allow junior members with handicaps 16-24 to play in the club medals to gain experiance and give them a chance to reduce their handicaps. Several juniors would have won medals this year if they had been eligable so the Captains Secretariat has decided that any junior who has the best score in the second division will be awarded a prize in recognition of their achievement. This will be a separate prize and will not affect the rule that to win the medal outright a junior must have an official handicap of 15 or below.
