Seniors Open Day Thurs 31st July

Southerndown Seniors Open was played In very challenging conditions with a strong wind and several heavy showers. In all 88 golfers braved the conditions. The competition was split into 2 catagories. Cat A 64yrs and under. Catagory B 65 and over.

Jim Selby of Neath had his 6th hole in one on the 148yd par 3 14th.This won him a double share in the twos or better competition and resulted in him winning 2 dozen Titleist golf balls. the other competitors who scored a 2 therefore claimed 1 dozen Titleist balls. A very good return for the investment of £1.50
