The Mail on Sunday Competition
Southerndown ladies are doing exceptionally well in this tournament. They have now won through the seventh round, winning against the Vale of Glamorgan at Southerndown.
Their next challenge will be at Henbury in Bristol and we wish them good luck. The Henbury course is in Westbury-onTrym. It is a parkland course, tree-lined and on two levels. The river Trym comes into play on the 7th hole with its green set just over the stream. The last nine holes have the beautiful Blaise Castle woods for company.
Green fees £21 per round. Tel: 0117 950 2615.
