 Hallets Golf

 20th MAY 2008

 Hallets golf is a way of representing your club when your Handicap is 18 or more. Some with higher handicaps are reluctant to step forward to participate in Hallets golf because they mistakenly believe that their standard of golf is not good enough for such competition. I can assure you that that is not correct you only have to look at my golfing credentials to realise that!

The Hallets gives you the opportunity of not only playing golf with fellow minded golfers but you get to play interesting courses across South East Wales and all for the contribution of about £8  towards the cost of a meal after the game. It is also a great way of improving your game as is evidenced by at least 5 of our 2007 squad moving on to lower handicaps.

 We really need to increase the squad of players available for matches because work, holidays and illness all play a part in oneÂ’s availability. There are many members at Southerndown with the relevant over 18 handicaps, indeed I have played with some at Club competitions. Do consider joining the Hallets at Southerndown – YOU WONT REGRET IT!

You can get in touch by any of the following methods;

•  Talk to me at the club at any time.
