1st Team v Langland Bay

For our opening first team match of the 2008 season we were greeted with glorious sunshine and a gentle breeze-perfect golfing conditions. After brushing off a little rust from the off season all Southerndown players put in good performances and matches were closely fought. The opening match narrowly lost and the final match won on the 17th, leaving a nail biting conclusion. Arriving at the last one down, our boys rose to the challenge. Graham produced a solid tee shot followed by Anthony's great iron shot under pressure, to approximately twenty feet. A two putt was enough to win the hole and halve the match.
