Bulletin 8: 'Carter's Folly' traps Farr
9 APRIL 2011 11:24
A 6-over-par 9 on the treacherous Par 3 5th hole spoiled an otherwise excellent round for reigning champion, Oliver Farr.
Birdies on 12, 15 and 18 helped him to recover and finish with a creditable 74.
With ten players in the clubhouse Andy Sullivan holds a 5-shot lead ahead of Pontardawe's Carwyn Hammond.
More scores to follow in the next bulletin.
