So day 1 is all wrapped up and finished for the 2018 Duncan Putter.
Weather was a clear factor for players with winds ranging from 20-30MPH to provide a testing opening day for the players.
Joint Leaders Oliver Brown (Vale Resort GC) and Henrik Lilja (DelsA GC) sit at the top of the leaderboard on the lowest score of 70 even with a two shot lead over the players behind.
Southerndown players are used to the high winds on the course and Kieron Harman leads the way with a score of 73, putting him just behind the leaders whilst Llewellyn Matthews started his Duncan Putter with a 74. Jake Hapgood also finished on 75.
Last night the rain hammered the course and play has been suspended with a review at 8am to follow. Please keep an eye on social media and the website for further infomation.
