During the winter period the club has experienced an alarming lack of etiquette with regards to the repairing of pitch marks on our greens. The club conducted a survey recently were various sections of the club were monitored during their play. The results were staggering with less than 35% actually repairing a single pitch mark.
Previous notices adopted by many clubs have requested for players to repair their own pitch marks on the greens. The club would like to adopt a new request which is for players to repair a minimum of 2 pitch marks per green. If every player adopted this Policy/Etiquette on our course we would reduce the current amount of pitch marks significantly, helping to improve the performance and look of our greens.
Please help to maintain your course!
