Yellow Box Medal - QR Welsh Individual Champs & PGA Pro-AmSunday 01 Jul 2012 [11:09] A strong turnout of 92 entrants took part in the Yellow Box Medal despite the brisk winds throughout the day. The medal provided two additional qualifiers, the Welsh Individual Handicap Championships and the PGA National Pro-Am Championship to be played with Head Professional John Peters...
The increasingly strong winds proved to be a true test of golf and character, with only 6 players out of the 92 managing to shoot below their handicap.
Congratulations to Mike Jenkins(7) and Glenn Howells (18) with their outstanding nett 64 scores, winning Division 1 and Division 2 respectively. We wish them both the best of luck in the Welsh Individual Handicap Championships!

PGA National Pro-Am Qualfier
Congratulations to Glenn Howells for qualifying with a superb nett 64, narrowly beating Mike Jenkins on the second nine holes countback.
The Pro-Am will take place on Monday 30th July at Frilford Heath in Oxfordshire, with a chance to qualify to the Grand Final in Moon Palace Golf Resort & Spa in Mexico in December.
Welsh Indivual Handicap Championship
Congratulations to Mike Jenkins qualifying in Category A 0-12 handicap, and to Glenn Howells qualifying in Category B 13-28 handicap, both with highly impressive nett 64's.
The National Final will be played on Sunday 9th September at Llandridnod Wells Golf Club, played over 18 holes strokeplay.
