Southerndown defeat Cardiff in Victory Shield

Ben Westgate and Will Hughes showed great form against Cardiff in yesterday's Victory Shield match against Cardiff played at Royal Porthcawl.

The combination of youth and experience worked well for Southerndown. Fresh from his Duncan Putter success Ben Westgate played with his usual high level of consistency, and young Will Hughes rose to the occasion to help secure a 5 & 3 victory over the Cardiff Team.
