Members

This section of the site has been designed with the new member in mind. Many members will of course know most of the information here, but it does serve as a reference point.

Southerndown is a private members’ club affiliated to the Golf Union of Wales which governs amateur golf in Wales. Golf is played in accordance with the Rules of Golf as published and interpreted by the Royal and Ancient Golf Club. The handicapping system used is that devised by CONGU – the Council of National Golf Unions.

Most of the information in the members’ section is available to all. There are, however, some details that are more sensitive such as financial matters, confidential notices, etc. These can be found in the members’ only news section which is password protected. Please contact the office for the password.
